The Shrunkenstein Project
In my art project "The Shrunkenstein Project" I reduce the subtle, the invisible, evil monster that create suffering and sorrow. The monster is spreading violence, disease, abuse, cynicism, and injustice among people. To visualize the monster and reduce its strength, I have given it a shrunken head, inspired by Tsantsa ritual. I have used color, beautiful things, different context and humor to counteract the power of the dark and evil. The weakened monster is chained to the wall.
The beauty and joy is bigger and it makes us stronger.
